We are thoroughly managing the Ethics Committee to establish an ethical ecosystem at Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited that ensures fair performance of duties, avoids unfair profits, and clearly distinguishes between public and private matters.
Occupational Safety and Health Management System
Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited has announced a safety and health management policy that prioritizes the safety and health of customers and employees (including members of partner companies) visiting all of its business sites. We are making every effort to establish and operate a safety and health management system that complies with Indian laws and regulations and meets customer needs.
Environmental Management Environmental Policy
Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited is actively responding to climate change and environmental impact reduction in the mid- to long-term by establishing and implementing environmental management goals and strategies. Based on these goals and strategies, each department collaborates closely to identify and implement implementation tasks. The status of implementation is regularly reviewed by the dedicated environmental management organization and management.
In addition, we are pursuing company-wide environmental management performance management by setting performance indicators and mid- to long-term goals related to this.
Conflict Minerals Management Conflict Minerals Policy
Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited has established a responsible minerals management system to minimize risks that may arise during the raw material production, smelting, and refining processes required for product manufacturing. Based on international guidelines, Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited has implemented a detailed responsible minerals management system to manage its supply chain partners. Furthermore, the company requires systematic management of responsible minerals during the selection and evaluation of new partners. Specifically, the selection process requires the submission of CMRT and EMRT.
We will continue to proactively address issues arising from responsible minerals and continuously improve our responsible minerals management system to minimize human rights violations and environmental impacts.
Subcontracting Internal Review Committee for Partner Management Code of Conduct
Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited is committed to fostering a sustainable business ecosystem by building a horizontal network with its partners and enhancing their ESG capabilities based on fair and transparent collaborative relationships.
To minimize ESG risks that may arise in its supply chain, Sungwoo Hitech India Private Limited has developed and implemented a concrete supply chain ESG management policy. Based on ESG factors, we have established a Supplier ESG Code of Conduct that our partners must adhere to. To minimize risks arising from conflict minerals, we incorporate relevant information into this Code of Conduct. Furthermore, we require responsible mineral sourcing certification when contracting with smelters and refineries, striving to minimize risks that may arise during the raw material procurement process. .
